Dr. Emily Gilbert

Dr. Gilbert is a rheumatologist, who completed her rheumatology fellowship and internal medicine residency at the Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, Florida.  She is an Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of the University of Mississippi M.D./Ph.D. program where her dissertation focused on hormonal influences on cardiovascular and renal physiology in lupus disease.

Dr. Kyle Harner

Chief Medical Officer

Dr. Harner has been a Rheumatologist for 20 years, and lives in North Carolina. He received his Doctorate of Medicine from Medical College of Virginia, and completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Rheumatology Fellowship at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Marie Celano, LCPC, CCPS, NCC

Marie is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She specializes in trauma care and has been helping clients since 2008. She received a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Loyola University of Maryland.

The understanding of joint/tissue conditions and mental health continually advance. Marie utilizes current best practices to ensure optimal care for the newly diagnosed rheumatology patients to those in remission.

Bhavika Amin, NP

Chief Clinical Officer

Bhavika Amin is a rheumatology nurse practitioner and has been in practice for over 12 years. She has participated in clinical trials and continues to give talks about various rheumatology topics. She provides personalized and comprehensive care by combining her clinical expertise with a holistic approach. As an advocate, Bhavika has a keen interest in redefining healthcare experiences and helping patients find
power within their health journey.

Pamela Hudak, PA-C

Pamela Hudak is a native of North Carolina and graduated from Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC with a degree in Physician Assistant studies in 2002. She worked in an internal medicine clinic for 5 years treating adult patients with a variety of conditions. In 2008, with a desire to transition to specialty care, she began working in an adult rheumatology practice where she remained for 14 years. 

Pete Celano

Founding team member Pete Celano has worked in virtual health & value-based care for ten years. He’s focused on reducing Time to Treatment Initiation in rheumatology with our current and future partners, and AI to predict and avoid patient escalation. A zealot for National Virtual Clinics (NVCs) such as Remission Medical, he’s always ready to encourage other entrepreneurs as healthcare transforms over the next five years at 10x the pace heretofore.

Matt Hogan

Vice President of Business Development

Matt has worked in healthcare partnering with health systems and physician practices in laboratory, diagnostic imaging, telemedicine and digital health for almost a decade. He is an avid believer in the power of partnerships and team-centered problem solving. 

Dr. John Ader

Dr. John Ader, has been a rheumatologist for over 15 years and currently resides in Boise ID. Heattended the Kirksville College of Osteopathy, completed a residency in internal medicine at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan and completed fellowship training in rheumatology at the University of Texas Southwestern, Dallas Texas.

Meet Founder, Blake Wehman, MHA

Blake’s diagnosis during college inspired him to go into healthcare administration. He received his Master of Health Administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth and began working at Bon Secours Health System before moving into healthcare entrepreneurship.

Blake launched Remission Medical in his hometown of Richmond, Virginia to help move more rheumatology patients into remission faster, and keep them there longer. He’s a proud husband and father of three boys.
